11th National Chopin Piano Competition (2025)

The 11th National Chopin Piano Competition will be held from January 4 – 12, 2025 hosted by the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami in Florida. The first prize winner receives $100,000, a concert tour, and guaranteed acceptance into the 2025 International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw.

Scholarship Program for Young American Pianists

The purpose of the Chopin Foundation’s Scholarship Program is to support and encourage young, talented American pianists through up to four years of preparation for the National Chopin Piano Competition. Renewable scholarships of $1,000 are awarded on a competitive basis to outstanding young American pianists.

Frost Chopin Academy
June 9 -June 16, 2024

The Frost School of Music is once again partnering with the Chopin Foundation to present the 6th annual Frost Chopin Academy and Festival with the generous support of the M. Lee Pearce Foundation, and the Patrick Park Foundation. This year’s Academy and Festival offers pianists up to the age of 30 the opportunity to immerse themselves in the works of Fryderyk Chopin and learn first-hand from the world’s most distinguished Chopin specialists. All lessons focus exclusively on the works of Chopin.
